To prepare for our interview, Tara had read all three books in my trilogy, How To Build Winning Teams Again And Again, and in the course of our 52-minute conversation she asked:

  • What does your first book unearth in terms of a team’s psychological issues?
  • In your work as a coach, how do you help teams grapple with your Dual Forces psychological model?
  • How important was it for you to be able to synthesise your psychological models for your use with teams?
  • What is the main message of your Dual Forces model?
  • Can you give us a thumbnail sketch of your Commit-Combust-Combine model of team psychology?
  • How long does it take for you when you’re working with teams to help them through the Commit issue?
  • How do you segue from the team psychology issues in book 1 to your Seven-Principle Action model in book 2? How do they connect?
  • What do we most need to know about your seven action principles?
  • When you’re working with teams, where do you find resistance starts showing?
